Bone Thugs’n’Harmony, The Name Says it All

A preview for the Bone Thugs’n’Harmony Concert on November 21st at The Neptune Theater in Seattle, Washington

Signed by Hip Hop royalty Eazy E to Ruthless Records in 1993 Bone Thugs and Harmony has dealt with immense expectations from the Hip Hop community to keep Hip Hop traditions moving along. Bone Thugs’n’Harmony has not let anyone down. With signature fast raps and catchy and smooth melodious hooks, the name Bone Thugs’n’Harmony says everything that you need to know about the band.

With original member Layzie Bone leaving the band earlier this year the chemistry of the band will be a bit different, and the raps will not be quite as fast. Seeing the difference in dynamics without Layzie, will be interesting and will show how a 90’s rap group is surviving through the latest music fads. With rappers like Macklemore pushing the genres of pop and rap together, rap has been crying out for artists that show their 90’s roots. Though artists like Drake have given credit to classic rap groups like Wu Tang the rap community is screaming for a band that can bring mainstream rap back to its roots. Bone Thugs’n’Harmony surviving all these years gives hope to all of these people.

Bone Thugs’n’Harmony will being playing at the Neptune Theatre in Seattle on Nov. 21st. For any fan of 90’s rap or even people who simply grew up in the 90’s this concert will bring back memories and hopefully shine a bit of light on what direction the rap community will travel in.
