Earlier this year one of the contestants for “Prince of R’n’B” and former ghost writer for artists such as Beyonce, and Justin Bieber, Frank Ocean, told us all in the most legitimate place in the world, Tumblr, that he would be releasing his new album(presumably called “Boys Don’t Cry”) in July 2k15. He did this in a VERY legitimate, eloquent way by hash tagging a picture of him with his new Magazine publication called “Boys Don’t Cry”, with the hashtag #July2015. This TOTALLY LEGITIMATE(did I mention how legit this was), fool proof, and immaculate promise that Frank made, hit the hearts of so many Frank fans when it reached August 1st and NOTHING WAS RELEASED. He had a short segment of his new song as the credit song of the movie South Paw, but he never made the song available otherwise.
SO WHERE IS THIS NEW ALBUM FRANK? IS IT IN YOUR ATTIC? DOES KANYE HAVE IT? DID TYLER, THE CREATOR STAB IT AND SKIN IT?
I’m here to answer this question.
The album is here, in your heart. It’s been there since you were born, you simply need to search harder. Frank Ocean’s poetic voice is in every love note that you sent to your middle school sweetheart. It is in every drop of water that you poured on your favorite succulent. It is even in your shampoo that you bought because you liked the label, but actually doesn’t smell too great. Wherever you are, so is Frank Ocean. Is he watching you? No, he’s got better shit to do. But is he watching over you with his silky smooth voice? Who can say? But I would bet, that the answer is yes.
This answer I just gave to you all in total legitimacy is, equaling the legitimacy of Frank’s announcement, complete horse hockey. Frank Ocean, please drop your new album. I’ve even gone as far as to start listening to Miguel’s new Album Wildheart THE DELUXE VERSION. THE DELUXE VERSION OF A MIGUEL ALBUM FRANK!!! The album is actually quite good, and I recommend it thoroughly. Is that me talking or is that the distraught, Boys Don’t Cryless person talking? FUCK, I DON’T KNOW. I DON’T EVEN KNOW WHO I AM ANY MORE!
